Electrical Operations Supervisor

About the role

Aggreko is seeking an Electrical Operations Supervisor to lead on‑site power and energy solutions in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role ensures equipment reliability, performance, safety, and customer satisfaction while complying with Aggreko standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Production Team, manage SCADA load control systems and align output with client energy demand.
• Enforce QHSE protocols including LOTO, tool calibration, lifting operations and PPE usage.
• Monitor alarms, perform first‑line performance assessments and trigger maintenance actions such as oil analysis.
• Optimize asset availability, manpower deployment and inventory management.
• Maintain accurate production logs and apply 5S/OPOS standards for site housekeeping.
• Onboard, mentor and up‑skill team members to maintain a capable workforce.
• Liaise with clients and managers to communicate performance and pre‑empt availability issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• High and Low Voltage authorisation (e.g., B2V, H2V) mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years experience with power generation equipment, preferably in off‑grid or hybrid installations in remote DRC sites.
• Advanced proficiency in English and French; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Willingness to work in confined spaces, remote locations and travel as required.
