About the role

Nifty Contractor is seeking a skilled Painting Contractor to join our residential renovation team. You will work on home additions and remodels, delivering high‑quality paint finishes that enhance the client’s experience.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare surfaces by repairing walls, baseboards, doors, and electrical outlets.
• Apply interior and exterior paint using industry‑approved techniques.
• Estimate material and labour costs and provide accurate quotes.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site, including proper disposal of hazardous materials.
• Supervise junior crew members when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma and completed painting apprenticeship (post‑secondary or equivalent on‑the‑job training).
• Portfolio of completed painting projects.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Strong reliability, professionalism, and client‑focused attitude.
