Post Press Machine Operator & Supervisor (Offset/Digital)

About the role

Instaprint SARL is seeking a hands‑on Post Press Machine Operator cum Supervisor to lead its finishing department in Kinshasa. The role combines daily machine operation with team leadership on a long‑term expatriate contract.

Key responsibilities

• Operate perfect binding, folding, die‑cutting, guillotine and other finishing machines independently.
• Supervise and coordinate a team of approximately 50 post‑press staff, allocating work and monitoring progress.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards and client specifications are consistently met.
• Train operators and helpers on machine set‑up, change‑overs, safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean, disciplined work environment and troubleshoot basic machine issues.
• Collaborate with planning and costing teams to execute schedules and control material usage.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in offset or digital printing environments.
• Proven supervisory experience managing large production teams.
• Strong understanding of the full printing workflow from pre‑press to post‑press.
• Ability to work on an expatriate contract in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
