Site Manager - Airfield Pavements

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead airfield pavement works on a major airport infrastructure project in Kinshasa. You will be responsible for delivering runway, taxiway and apron construction safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day airfield pavement construction activities from subgrade preparation to final handover.
• Coordinate production plants, paving operations, equipment, materials and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, airport safety requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor productivity, material usage, testing results and overall construction progress.
• Lead site teams and work with multidisciplinary stakeholders to meet project milestones.
• Identify and mitigate technical, operational and delivery risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in pavement construction and site management.
• Proven background on runway, taxiway or apron projects, preferably in Africa.
• Knowledge of international airport pavement standards (ICAO preferred).
• Fluent English; French is an advantage.
