Electrical Engineer – Solar Hybrid & Industrial Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Electrical Engineer to lead the design, installation, and operation of a solar hybrid power system while managing the electrical infrastructure of our agro‑industrial facilities. The role combines project engineering, field execution, and O&M, acting as the on‑site technical lead.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee commissioning, optimization, and daily performance of solar PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Review and validate engineering deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams, panel schedules, and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, and consultants to ensure compliance and timelines.
• Design and supervise installation of low‑voltage (LV) and medium‑voltage (MV) distribution networks for mills, silos, residential and commercial buildings.
• Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans for PV arrays, BESS, diesel generators, and switchgear.
• Supervise, mentor, and schedule on‑site electricians and technicians.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, perform load analysis, cable sizing, and protection coordination.
• Support water pumping, irrigation, and borehole system design and integration.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading solar PV and BESS projects from design through operation.
• Strong background in LV/MV power distribution for industrial and residential facilities.
• Hands‑on expertise in O&M, troubleshooting complex electrical faults, and asset management.
• Ability to manage EPC contractors and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and regulatory compliance in industrial settings.
