Health Specialist – Fixed Term – Kananga, DRC

About the role

The Health Specialist will report to the Chief Field Office and support the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of health programmes in Kananga, DRC, focusing on areas such as gender, maternal, neonatal and child health.

Key responsibilities

• Support programme development, planning and results-based management.
• Manage programme implementation, monitoring and delivery of results.
• Provide technical and operational guidance to ensure sustainable health outcomes.
• Build partnerships and networks with government, UN agencies, NGOs and donors.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in public health, nutrition, epidemiology or related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in public health programme planning, maternal and neonatal health, or health emergency preparedness.
• Fluency in French; knowledge of another UN language or local language is a plus.
