In-Country Coordinator (ICC) for CDC Technical Assistance Platform (TAP)

About the role

PATH is seeking an In‑Country Coordinator (ICC) to lead the implementation of the CDC Technical Assistance Platform (TAP) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Reporting to the Digital Health Lead, the ICC will work closely with the Ministry of Health, CDC DRC, and other PEPFAR‑funded partners to advance digital health solutions that support HIV/AIDS and TB epidemic control.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all in‑country TAP activities, ensuring alignment with CDC and PATH objectives.
• Provide technical assistance on electronic medical record (EMR) identification, development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Support health informatics capacity building, including data governance, privacy, security, and confidentiality.
• Facilitate standards‑based interoperability between laboratory systems, EMRs, and other health information systems.
• Document project progress, produce reports, and maintain communication with CDC HQ and local stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital health project coordination or implementation, preferably in low‑resource settings.
• Strong understanding of health information systems, data governance, and privacy regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with government ministries, international agencies, and implementing partners.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
