People & Gender Senior Specialist (Fixed-Term)

About the role

The People & Gender Senior Specialist will lead One Acre Fund DRC’s efforts to become the best workplace for social‑impact professionals. The role combines DEI strategy, talent acquisition, performance management and employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a country‑specific DEI strategy with a focus on gender equity, reviewing policies and training staff on inclusive leadership.
• Create and execute innovative sourcing and outreach plans, coordinate with global recruitment, and ensure compliant onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Serve as the primary administrator of the HRIS, maintain accurate staff records, and manage performance development cycles.
• Lead internal communications, grievance handling, and policy updates to foster a positive workplace culture.

Required profile

• Expertise in DRC labour law and compliance management.
• Proven ability to promote employee engagement, trust and morale.
• Experience managing performance and development for large, multi‑level teams.
• Project‑management skills in fast‑moving, pilot environments.
