Senior HR Lead

About the role

Wave Mobile Money is scaling rapidly across Kinshasa and the surrounding provinces. The Senior HR Lead will act as a strategic business partner, building and operating the people engine that supports fast‑growth operations, field teams, agents and support functions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with country leadership to translate growth targets into practical people strategies.
• Design and implement performance management processes and talent development initiatives.
• Provide HR business partnership on under‑performance, high‑attrition roles, promotions and internal mobility.
• Champion Wave’s culture through town halls, workshops and storytelling.
• Oversee office administration, facilities, security, staff welfare and adapt solutions to local constraints such as power reliability and transport challenges.
• Own and manage HR and office budgets with cost discipline.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR business partner or senior HR leader in high‑growth environments.
• Strong ability to influence leaders, make data‑driven decisions and manage people risks.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for building culture.
