French Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

The French Food & Beverage Manager will lead all food and beverage operations in our Kinshasa establishment, ensuring a refined dining experience that highlights authentic French cuisine. This permanent, full‑time position focuses on operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and strict compliance with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily food and beverage service across all outlets, guaranteeing smooth operations.
• Develop and execute revenue‑optimisation and cost‑control strategies to improve profitability.
• Ensure continuous compliance with hygiene, health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Recruit, train, coach, and mentor staff to maintain high service standards.
• Collaborate with culinary teams on menu planning, emphasizing authentic French dishes.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and control inventory.
• Address guest feedback promptly to sustain satisfaction and loyalty.
• Prepare regular performance reports covering financial results and service quality.
• Work closely with other departments to deliver cohesive brand experiences.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of food and beverage management experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience in a hospitality or tourism setting, preferably with French‑themed outlets.
• Fluency in French and English with excellent communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of French cuisine and beverage offerings.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and food‑hygiene regulations.
• Demonstrated budgeting, financial management, and cost‑control abilities.
• Ability to lead diverse teams in a multicultural environment.
