Technical Project Manager – Perennial Malaria Chemoprevention

About the role

PATH is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the pilot implementation of Perennial Malaria Chemoprevention (formerly IPTi) in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role will support a GiveWell‑funded project, working closely with the Study Lead and a multidisciplinary technical team to ensure successful delivery of project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage work plans and donor deliverables, tracking implementation milestones and ensuring timely approvals.
• Understand and apply the research methods and objectives of the GiveWell‑PMC project.
• Coordinate team meetings, set agendas, and present strategic insights on risks, challenges, and opportunities.
• Provide technical assistance on stock management and transportation of Pyrimethamine/Sulfadoxine‑SP.
• Collaborate with supply‑chain focal points at national and provincial levels to secure safe storage and distribution of drugs.
• Support provincial teams in tracking commodities, analyzing logistics, and ensuring timely drug deployment to health facilities.

Required profile

• Background or strong interest in global health and infectious disease programs.
• Highly motivated, hard‑working, with exceptional organizational abilities.
• Experience supervising logistics, M&E, and field coordination staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively with national health authorities and donor partners.
